Raymond SHUMBUSHO
Founder & Managing Director

Raymond SHUMBUSHO

Raymond is the Managing Director and Founder of Global Line Safaris, a tourism company established from his passion for tourism, professional guiding, and skills development within Rwanda’s tourism sector.

Raymond began his professional journey as a driver, where he developed a strong interest in tourism and gradually progressed into becoming a professional tourist driver-guide. Through his experience working with tourists and exploring Rwanda’s destinations, he gained extensive practical knowledge of tour operations, tourist guiding, customer service, transportation, and the overall tourism industry.

With a growing passion for sharing his knowledge and creating opportunities for others, Raymond expanded his work beyond tourism guiding. He became actively involved in providing professional tourism training, internships, and industrial attachments, helping students and aspiring tourism professionals gain practical skills and industry experience.

His commitment to developing Rwanda’s tourism workforce inspired him to establish Global Line Safaris, where he combines tourism services with professional skills development. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its activities to include a tourism training center accredited to offer short courses related to tourism through the Rwanda TVET Board.

Through Global Line Safaris, Raymond is committed to delivering quality tourism experiences while empowering young people and tourism practitioners with practical knowledge, professional skills, and opportunities for hands-on learning.

His journey from a driver to a tourist driver-guide, tourism trainer, entrepreneur, and Managing Director and Founder of Global Line Safaris reflects his determination, passion for tourism, and commitment to contributing to the professional development of Rwanda’s tourism industry.
