Day-by-Day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the hotel

   Upon arrival at Kigali international airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will, brief you shortly and transfer you to the booked accommodation for the diner and overnight stay. This will mark the start of your 10 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Maasai Mara Adventure

2. Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi: Travel time +4hrs

   After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and proceed to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a solemn site that honors the memory of over one million Rwandans who perished during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to watch and listen to powerful testimonies and video clips from survivors, offering deep insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience. Following this moving experience, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi. Upon arrival at your booked accommodation, you will enjoy a late lunch and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure, relaxing and preparing for the following day’s unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure

3. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi and Transfer to Rwanda Volcanoes NP

   Start your day with an early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for a briefing conducted by Uganda Wildlife Authority officials. Afterward, you will venture into the forest in search of the shy mountain gorillas, observing their fascinating behaviors in their natural habitat. Once you locate the gorilla family, you’ll have the rare opportunity to spend an unforgettable hour in their presence, gazing into their expressive, soulful eyes. Gorilla trekking requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. Be sure to bring sturdy walking shoes, packed lunch, mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hat. The duration of the trek can vary from a few hours to a full day, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Following this incredible wildlife encounter, return to your lodge lunch that will be followed with a transfer to Rwanda at the Volcanoes NP

4. Day 4: Golden monkey trek and transfer to Kigali

   Today after your warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked by our safari driver guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing and start off you day for golden monkey trekking in search for these primates in the jungle. Just like the gorilla trekking experience, the same applies to golden monkey trekking though no so hectic like gorilla trekking. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Kigali, if time permits, head for a brief city tour, after be transferred to the hotel for the diner and overnight stay

5. Day 5: Transfer to the airport to fly to Tanzania

   After breakfast in the morning, you will continue your 10 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Tanzania wildlife with a flight to Kilimanjaro. Once you’ve enjoyed a relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled flight to Tanzania. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Tanzania driver-guide will be waiting to welcome you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi city for check-in and an overnight stay

6. Day 6: Game drives in Tarangire National Park

   Embark on a thrilling journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Spend the day on game drives, spotting an array of wildlife including lions, giraffes, and zebras. The landscape, dotted with ancient trees and riverbeds, offers a unique safari experience. As the sun sets, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your lodge, enveloped in the sounds of the African wilderness

7. Day 7: Game drive Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to Serengeti National Park.Travel time +3 hrs

   Today, you will descend 2,000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drives. Your tour will take you through lush forested areas, home to monkeys and elephants, and into the lake region, where flamingos often gather in striking numbers. You’ll also traverse the open savannah, where lions roam and hunt for prey. After your crater tour, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the Central Serengeti and enjoy a game drive en route through the park. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge

8. Day 8: Full Day Game Drives into Serengeti National Park

   After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive across the endless plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as the possibility of spotting a pride of lions resting in the shade. Return to your lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Later, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay

9. Day 9: Full Day Game Drives into Serengeti National Park

   After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the vast, open plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy the chance to witness the magnificent herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, and perhaps encounter a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Return to your lodge for lunch, then head out again for an evening game drive. Later, return to the lodge to relax before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay

10. Day 10: Serengeti to Lake Manyara National Park. Travel time +4 hrs

    After breakfast, enjoy a scenic game drive en route through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as you make your way to Lake Manyara, with a packed lunch provided along the way. You will arrive at Lake Manyara in the late afternoon, where you can unwind and relax before dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge

11. Day 11: Lake Manyara to Arusha: Kilimanjaro Airport.Travel time +4 hrs

    After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, where you’ll have a final opportunity to spot wildlife in the serene morning light. Afterwards, drive back to Arusha and enjoy a hot lunch at a local restaurant. Later, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home after the 11 Days Gorilla Trekking and Wildlife Safari
